About Williams Self Drive Services
Originally founded in 1897 as a small business in Shepton Mallet providing the hire of horse-drawn vehicles and bicycles, Williams Self Drive Services Ltd has grown into a major hire group.
Almost 120 years later, our depot is located in Trowbridge, from where we provide a wide range of current model vehicles for hire at competitive rates.
Our wide range of vehicles, including Cars, Vans, Trucks, MPVs and Minibuses, of all types and sizes will provide what you need for any occasion: be it a van for a house move or a car for a trip away.

As well as providing vehicles for short and medium hire periods to the public, we also hire vehicles to businesses of all sizes, including specialist vehicles specifically designed for a designated purpose. These hires can range from supplying a van for a day to enable you to continue serving your customers while your own vehicle is being maintained, to medium or long term hire of a vehicle to a particular specification to enable you to service a specific contract.
